Our fantasy writing retreats are designed for writers who love writing fantasy and want to take a step away from the never-ending chaos of everyday life and reignite their creativity. It’s a time to focus on growing your craft, building your world, and making lifelong connections with other writers who just get you.
Between morning reflection sessions, creative writing workshops, write-ins, open mics, and more, these retreats are a space for you to get inspired and rediscover your voice as a writer.

There’s nothing like taking an entire weekend for your craft to solidify your habits in the “real world.” Whether you are a fledgling writer, on the road to self-publish, or a professional writer already, setting aside dedicated time for your creativity is an absolute MUST.

Our workshops are geared toward getting new, fresh ideas to fill up your creative well. You just never know when the exact right inspiration is going to strike.

During our small group circles, we help each other through our writing journeys, offering support when needed, encouragement always, and usually with a few laughs along the way. Stuck in a spot and need someone to talk things through with? This is the place for you.

Whether it’s telling a story at open mic, sharing about your writing in the morning reflection circles, jumping in on a character hot seat panel, or doing a future “author” interview, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to put yourself out there.

Our retreats are created to serve women and femmes who love to write fantasy/romantasy. We work hard to make sure our events are inclusive, safe spaces.

Nope! Whether you're a published author, seasoned writer, or trying it out for the first time, this retreat is for you. All experience levels are welcome!

Our retreats are for YOU. That means that nothing is mandatory. If you want to curl up and write in your luxurious bed all day, go for it. If you want to take your lunch on the road and see the natural wonders of the area, by all means. Our activities are solely here as options to enhance your experience.
