You know that feeling when you finish a book and immediately need to talk about it with someone who understands? Or when you’re reading three books at once and emotionally attached to all of them for different reasons? Or when you’ve developed very strong opinions about fictional men and need a safe place to express them? Yeah. This is for that.

Found Family Club is a space for women and femmes who love books, love talking about books, and want people in their life who match their energy when it comes to swapping fan theories and recommending new reads.

FAQs

  • Found Family Club is centered on women and femmes.

    We welcome trans women, nonbinary people, and anyone who feels aligned with this space. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or anything that makes the space feel unsafe or unkind.

    Basically: be normal. be nice. don’t ruin the good vibes (or else).

  • Yes, you must be 18+ to join.

  • Our live events vary each month and can include things like author interviews, panel discussions, interactive Q&A sessions, and themed parties or trivia nights. Members can participate in live chats and engage with fellow readers during the event.

  • Each month, members will vote to select a new fantasy book to read for book club. Throughout the month you will be able to discuss the book with fellow readers online, and attend a live book club meeting via Zoom!

  • We strive to ensure as many members as possible can join book club and events, so we will host book club at a variety of dates/times.

  • Local chapters are the community spaces to help you connect with other members near you. This way, you can make friends that you can meet up with in real life! We also provide a list of local bookish meetup spots in each area.

  • Members will receive first access to registration and access to early bird ticket prices for all Forest & Fawn Fantasy Reading Retreats!

  • This will vary depending on availability of guests, member preference, etc. Rest assured we will make sure to add events into the calendar as early as possible so that you have time to pencil them in!
