What are the books for this retreat?
You guessed it, we are reading the THRONE OF GLASS series by Sarah J Maas. If you’ve already read it, time for a re-read! And if you’ve never even heard of it, well…get ready to have your universe blown wide open. You’re in for dragons, shadow daddies, tried and true friendship, & some jaw-dropping romance.
*Note: we will be talking about material from the entire series, so please come to the retreat having read all 8 books!

What’s included?

Autocamp provides luxury airstreams for a glamping experience. You will have an option to choose between a private airstream, queen bed in a shared airstream, or pullout couch in a shared airstream below.

All meals are included starting with dinner on Friday night and ending with breakfast on Sunday morning, and will be provided on-site.
Non-alcoholic drinks are included, so you won’t be going thirsty either.
Have an allergy or other kind of food restriction? You’ll have an option at checkout to tell us what your specific needs are!

Want to try writing a fantasy story of your own? Well, you’re in the perfect place. Join us for a creative writing workshop whether you are a prolific author or a total newbie. This workshop is for everyone who wants to channel their inner storyteller.

We will have scheduled times to meet to discuss fan theories, our favorite parts of the books, and anything else your hearts desire!

We will have nightly activities & games planned for the group. And trust us when we say, this is where the bonding really happens. Bring your random Throne of Glass knowledge that lives rent-free in your brain to the table.

Friday and Saturday night (weather depending) join us by the fire where the s’mores supplies will be flowing! Cozy up with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and a blanket.

Because no retreat is complete without a few things for you to take home that will serve as reminders of your magical time with Forest & Fawn retreats. Whether this weekend brings you new book besties to swap fan theories with or simply a much needed break from a hectic day-to-day, we want you to remember this time forever.

Getting there
Transportation options to Autocamp Yosemite are as follows:
Fly into Merced Regional Airport (MCE) with Advanced Air, just 1 hour away, with direct flights from Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
For easy transit, the YARTS bus can take you directly to our property and Yosemite National Park!
Alternatively, Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is a 1.5-hour drive away, with flights from major cities like Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Phoenix, Denver, and San Francisco.
You can also fly into Sacramento International Airport, a 3 hour drive to Autocamp Yosemite.
AutoCamp Yosemite is a 3-hour scenic drive from San Francisco and a 5-hour drive from Los Angeles, making it an ideal road trip destination for those wanting to explore the beauty of the Sierra Nevada. The journey is part of the adventure, with breathtaking landscapes leading up to your stay.
Arrival / departure
The retreat will begin on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at 3:00pm PDT and close on Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at 1:00pm PDT.

Our retreats are created to serve women and femmes who love to read and/or write fantasy/romantasy. We work hard to make sure our events are inclusive, safe spaces.

There will be approximately 30 guests at this retreat.

Yes! Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the inn bar, but if you prefer herbal tea, that will be available all day at no extra cost!

Ticket prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit. A refund on a ticket (minus $250 deposit) is contingent on whether or not Host can fill the Participants slot within 60 days before the event, for sold out events only. For non-sold out events there are no refunds on payments made, and you are responsible for the entirety of your payment plan.
In the rare case of a retreat cancellation by the Host (Forest & Fawn), The Host will offer a transfer to another retreat (if possible) or a full refund of your payment within 14 days. The Host is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of retreat cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses.

Yes! If you’d like to share a room with a friend, you can book a shared airstream. Be sure to name your preferred roommate at checkout!

Yes! Well, as long as you take breaks to eat and use the restroom. This retreat is made for YOU. All activities are optional.

We collect food restrictions before the event and do everything we can to be sure you are taken care of. If you have a severe allergy, please notify us so that we can plan accordingly.

Yes! You can choose to check out with AfterPay at checkout for orders up to $2,000.

This retreat is for YOU. That means that nothing is mandatory. If you want to curl up and read in your luxurious bed all day, go for it. If you want to take your lunch on the road and see the natural wonders of the area, by all means. Our activities are solely here as options to enhance your experience.
