Our new chapter: information and logistics
To our Forest & Fawn community,
We have a new and exciting update to share with you, one that comes from a place of growth, joy, and a whole lot of love for this community.
As Forest & Fawn has evolved, so have we. Over time, we’ve each become more deeply rooted in the parts of this world and this business that light us up most. Sarah’s heart is in our reading retreats and reader-focused experiences where we create spaces for girlhood and magic to thrive. Alli’s passion is in writing and creativity where we build challenges, support writers, and create spaces for your imaginations to run wild.
Because of that, we’re stepping into a new chapter that gives each of us more room to fully focus on what we love most, while still cheering each other on every step of the way.
Here’s what this next chapter looks like:
Sarah will continue leading Forest & Fawn, focusing on our beloved reading retreats and the community experiences you know and love, as well as The Reading Nook membership, now called Found Family Club.
Alli will be taking Forest & Fawn Writers into its next chapter under a new name: Woodland Writers. This will continue to include writing challenges, writing retreats, and the Writer’s Corner, now called The Understory, just with a new home and vision.
If you’re attending a Forest & Fawn retreat in 2026, whether that be a reading or writing retreat, nothing is changing for you. Your experience, your event, and the magic of those weekends will continue exactly as planned.
If you’re part of our writing challenges or part of our membership community, keep an eye out. More details will be coming your way very soon about this transition and what it means for you.
We want to say this clearly: our friendship is strong, and that isn’t changing. We are so grateful for one another and what we have been able to build together, and are excited to cheer on each other’s endeavors as we each pour our heart’s into our passion projects.
At its core, nothing about the heart of what we’ve built is going away. If anything, this allows everything to grow with more intention, creativity, and joy.
We’re so proud of what we’ve created together, and even more excited for what’s ahead both within Forest & Fawn and within Woodland Writers.
Thank you for being part of this world with us. It means more than we can say.
With Love & Magic,
Sarah & Alli
